Hi Bill,
Found this marriage in Llanfair-ar-y-bryn Parish Church :-
William Williams of this Parish Bachelor and Rachel James of this Parish
spinster were married in this church by Banns this twenty third day of August in
the Year One thousand eight hundred and twenty eight. By me William Morgan
Vicar.
William signed, Rachel made her mark.
Witnesses were Rich. Jones and Richd. Morgan.
This is the one you want isn't it? There are no records of marriages at the
chapel.Sorry, I didn't have time to check for any baptisms. You'll have to
contact Carmarthen Records Office for a copy of the marriage entry - I haven't
got the email address but perhaps someone who's done this can advise you.
Will probably be going back to Carmarthen RO next week if you'd like me to
check for baptisms at the chapel.
