Hi folks,
As message traffic seems to be very quiet at the moment I am taking the opportunity to retransmit an earlier message with the hope that someone may be able to help.
I am trying to trace the descendants of John Davies (son of John and Mary Davies, born Cellan, Carms and Merthyr, Glamorgan respectively) who is recorded at the 1891 census, aged 17 and living at 7 Yspitty Row, Swansea Road, Yspitty, Loughor. This area is now Bynea, a district of Llanelli.
Unfortunately and despite much hard work and research, I cannot find any trace of him in the 1901 Census and whilst I know there will be a number of John Davies living in the area, if anyone can help me find a record or give a steer, I would be most grateful. Obviously the John Davies I am looking for would be aged 27 at the time of the 1901 census. He was born in Pontardulais.
Any information, no matter how small, would be most gratefully received.
Many thanks,
John Davies
