Hello Carmarthenshire-L, --- I am looking for TOBIAS FAMILY information in WALES from 1770 to 1821.
I am new to your list. My g-g-g-grandfather was JOHN T. TOBIAS born in Wales on February 03, 1772. Died May 30, 1834 Scott County, Indiana USA. John T. came to the USA some time between 1795 and 1804. His first child was born 1804 in Red Bank, Ohio. I have all of his descendants in the USA listed, but we have not found the connection to his Tobias Family in Wales. He may have been from the Llanarthney area.

John T. Tobias must be related to some of the 44 TOBIAS names on the 1841 Wales census. In 1821 the Tobias names listed below came from Wales to live next to John T. in Indiana. They may have been relatives.
