Hello Joe

Looking at the birthplaces of David and his wife Jane in the 1851 census
I would guess that this may very well be their marriage:-

On 19 Dec 1829 David Davies of Cilycwm married Jane Davies in
Llanfairarybryn.


Do you have a birth certificate yet for your g-grandfather Evan Davies?

If it gives Jane Davies formerly Davies for his mother then that is a
point towards you having the right family.

You could double check with birth certificates for some of the other
children of David and Jane.
