Hi Pat and Gwyn

Glad you are on the hunt too....... Llandeilo fawr is where the baptism was
from, and as you know I have the actual register to view and it did state
Harry David as father......not as in the IGI when they use both ways, but I
think this was too far away, if he states born Llanboidy and married in
Pembs.

I too the same as you would assume Llanboidy as that is closer to Pembs, you
are the expert on Pembs - I found the marriage, and it listed ropemaker
too.......what do you think.....do you think that Llanddeusant and Llandeilo
fawr are incorrect ....also Llanddeusant does not have any marriages 1800 or
1801, so do not know where that record came from.....it's no wonder Gwyn
cannot fathom this out, as think he is looking in the wrong place

hope you have solved the question.....I too looked at 1861 and it gave
Theophilus as a widower.....

thanks - what else can you 'dig up', would love to be able to solve his
riddle

thanks Pauline
