Dear Roy,

Do you belong to genes connected as it is so easy to see the linneage on
that?

I can type out all that I have if you would like me to. As I said
before it is very difficult with Baptist families - all mine on this side
were members of Adulam or Sion. I transcribed the Adulam and Ty
Newydd registers about a year or more ago. They were a terrible mess and
there is no index as just transcribing was bad enough. It took me about 6
months to do them. They are on the CFHS website if you are a member.

Unfortunately I do not have a gedcom as everything is on genes connected.
If you give me what you have then I can fill in the bits that I have.

Did your Rees family farm at Ystradfai as I have John Rees ((1822 with
father David 1781) marrying Jane Williams (1829 with father John 1800) in
1852 at Adulam. John Rees had died by 1859 when Jane married a second time
to William Morris and one of their children - Silas - became the first chair
of Bangor Uni. Not sure if this is relevant to you but they did seem to
stick to their own in Felinfoel and Llanelli. Baptists married other
Baptists usually.

best wishes
Diana
