Hi All!
My Ca. surname interests are on both mother's and father's side.
Mother:
MALLORY (southern Ca.)
Father:
GOODALE (northern & southern Ca.
LILES (s. Ca.)
RIDDLE (s. Ca.)
My Paternal Grandfather was born in Crete and lived as a child in Athens
with his younger brother and sister after his mother, Anna, and father,
Nicholas, a butcher by trade, sent them there. My Grandfather, Anthony
Nicholas was born early 1890's and as a teen came to Northern Ca. to work on
the railroads. By 1920 I find him living in Los Angeles, Ca. working as a
mechanic. In the USA he took the name "Tony Lewis" and all information I
can find that's the only name I have...LEWIS is not a Greek name although
the legal surname of my father as that is the name given on his birth
certificate.
