Thank you to all fellow Carpenter researchers who have helped me on my line.
I am still trying to solve the mystery of Isaac Carpenter (b. 1764; Halifax,
NC & RV War Soldier). Isaac had a brother named William who was born abt
1772. A Professional researcher wrote an article about the possible links to
William Fauntleroy Carpenter and Nathaniel Carpenter of Va. This article was
featured in the US Genealogical Quarterly in 1985. Any information on the
Carpenters of Halifax, Orange, Wake, and Anson Counties in NC are appreciated.
