Molly,

I have a GGGgrandfather b. 1797 in VT. His name was John CARPENTER. His
children were born in the 1820s, as your Rachel was, but I think mine were
born in or near the DeRuyter area, Madison Co., NY. Was Rachel actually
born in NYC? In any case, I am looking for the parents and siblings of
John CARPENTER. If Rachel had an Uncle John, please let me know! I will
watch out for Rachel Jane.
