Frank was a healthy baby boy.His name should
under no circumstances be spelled 'Frances'. One need
only reach into your pocket, or your purse, for the
some Frank Carpenter fame. Frank arranged for the
Matthew Brady photos of Lincoln used on the penny
and the five-dollar bill. His masterpiece painting,'The First Reading
of the Emancipation Proclaimation'
hangs in the capitol. Frank's book is a must read for
Carpenters, for those Carpenters who can read.
