Hello All,
I have on the Smith Co.,TN. 1830 census:
Carpenter,
Harboard
1 male 15-20 (guessing Marcus?)
1 male 20-30 (guessing Farney?)
1 male 50-60 (Harbert? not Harboard)
1 female 15-20 (?)
2 females 20-30 (??)
1 female 50-60 (?)
John (son of Herbert?)
3 males 0-5 (???)
1 male 5-10 (?)
1 male 30-40 (John)
1 female 20-30 (?)
Would anyone be willing to tell me what line these
folks are from and their names?
Also searching for a Mary Carpenter's (Canada) parents
believed to be from the Carolinas or Virginia. She
married Jacob Shaw (son of Michael and Freelove Culver
Shaw) abt.1803 in Norfolk, Ontario, Canada. Mary and
Jacob had at least one son, Michael b.1831. Shaw is
sometimes seen as Shoaf.
Thank you,
Jeanette
