I am doing some genealogical research regarding Carpenter Town (site now
located in Lackawanna State Park north of Dalton Pennsylvania) and have
found that a Rev. Rolla Carpenter lived in this town around 1850. He
contributed information to the Scranton Republican news paper regarding
his family that was published on January 26th, 1882.

I would like to know if anyone might have a copy of this article. From
what I understand it begins with William Carpenter of Providence and
continues through several generations, giving information about his
branch of the family that would otherwise be unobtainable. I would really
appreciate it if anyone could send me a copy or transcription of this
article.
