May I ask a couple of questions about your Nash County, NC Carpenters. I
think I have found Burwell in Pendleton District, SC. Is he the same one?
Did Reuben go to the Mountains of NC and Tennessee? Did William go to Macon
County, NC? There is a William Carpenter there.
My Carpenters are of German descent (Zimmermann) from the Lincoln County, NC
area. I have found it necessary to trace others to make sure they did not
belong to my family.
Thanks for the help.
Robert Carpenter
