I recently have received information that my ggrandmother Melissa A.
Carpenter's father was Levi Carpenter. Levi was born about 1834, probably in
Sullivan or Orange County New York. He married Marie Perry, born in about
1835 in New Jersey.
Levi and Marie had the following children:
Melissa Angeline Carpenter December 08, 1852 my

Benjamin Carpenter 1853
John H. Carpenter 1860
Moses Carpenter 1864
Peter Carpenter 1868
Peter Carpenter 1868
Abram Carpenter 1870
Sanford Carpenter 1872
Minnie Carpenter 1876
I plan to research records in Sullivan and Orange county. But I thought that
I would post this information to the Carpenter List. I am hoping that
someone might have a connection to this branch of the Carpenter family and we
can share information.
