This Joseph Carpenter is my 2nd great granduncle, I can *almost* swear. His
wife may have been Olive Taylor.

His father, Jesse Carpenter ca 1740-1815 was married to Sarah Seely/Seeley,
1762-1827, in 1782.

Joseph has 2 sisters:

Clarissa who married David Roe.

Hannah who married George Cunningham Edwards. Some works have her married to
David Roe, but that isn't true. I have George Edwards' will. These are my
great great grandparents.

He also has one brother, Jesse, who married Emma Sayre. I have his will and
have transcribed it, if anyone wants me to send it to them.
