Hello List,

Results have returned for Member #107978, the descendant of Henry CARRICO
(c1760s-c1810) of Charles Co., MD. Some show Henry as son of Bartholomew
CARRICO & Kitty PADGETT, but I don't know that the connection has been proven.
What has now been proven is that, one way or another, he descends from Peter
CARRICO I, the 1674 immigrant to Maryland:

He does, in fact, appear to be the first to bear the modal haplotype for the
family. The modal haplotype is presumed to be the haplotype of their common
ancestor, in this case, Peter CARRICO I. Knowing the modal haplotype has
simplified the node charts by supporting that 37 is the modal value for CDYb:
