Subject: [CASACRAM-L] Re: VON BREYMAN found!

Hi Linda,
Did manage to confirm that date and place of death for William von Breyman as
follows:
THE DAILY COLUSA SUN (Calif.)
Wednesday, 17 April 1901, page 1:
"Cortina Postmaster Passes Away - Wm. A. Von Breyman, an old and respected
citizen of Cortina, died suddenly Tuesday morning. The deceased has been the
Cortina postmaster for years. He was 65 years of age."
I'm also mailing you a copy.

William Adolphus George von Breyman(n)
Now whether that is the name that was in the obituary or not, I do
not know! I'd rather doubt it would have the full name. He is
buried in Arbuckle, Colusa County; however Colusa County has
no record of his death! I have a "copy" of the family Bible page
that is in some other branch of the family, and it lists his death
date as 16 April 1901 in Cortina, Colusa County. However, again,
there's no such place! Earlier in his life he did have a business
in Sacramento, and it was there he met my g-grandmother.
