I need help finding more info on my Streeter family in the Sacramento
area. I have not proven that Albert in Sacramento is the same as Albert
in Santa Barbara or that he was the father of Martha Ellen, Susan and
the toddler boy. His wife is supposed to have died young, but the
records I do have give the impression that Susan may have been born in
Sacramento and the mother died after that. (The recorders offices in
Alameda and Sacramento County both said they did not have a death record
for Susan. And Martha Ellen's death record did not list her parents, no
birth records were kept in Tehama county at the time of her birth
either.) I assumed Albert died soon after the last listing in the
Sacramento city directory, but I found no obituary. I ran out of time to
search for a death record for him at the recorders office, he is not
listed in the Rootsweb.com California death index.
What records in Sacramento might have some info for me?
Does anyone have any information that might help?

GILHOOLY - In Oakland, December 26, Susan, beloved wife of John F.
Gilhooly and sister of Mrs. W. H. Hale, a native of California, aged 26
years 9 months and 26 days.
Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral
today (Wednesday), at 9:3 o'clock a.m. from the parlors of the Henry J.
Gallagher Company, 1814 Webster street, between Ellis and O'Farrell;
thence to St. Peter's Church, where a requiem high mass will be
celebrated for the repose of her soul, commencing at 10:30 o'clock a. m.
Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.
