Could someone in the San Francisco area help me find were to get
a copy of my Great Grandmothers Will, she died in 1969. I tried
the Health Dept., as was suggested to me in the past and never got
past a recording or information on how to get this copy!! Any help
would be greatly Appreciated. She died Dec. 1st, 1969 in Sacramento
California, but lived in San Francisco's, West Portal area. Her name
is Mary Thornton Waddell and I am looking for her Obit., also. Will
pay any expence if someone can help me!! I'm also looking for KIRBY
who I met on Rootsweb, she knew my Great grandfather and even sent
me a Picture of him, Dr. Edwin Waddell. While I'm at it, if anyone
can help me get a copy of his Obit., I would really be greatfull,
he died Sept. 23, 1963, Dr. Edwin Hamilton Waddell, San Francisco,
his office was at 323 Gerry St., he was a Dentist & they lived at
54 Allston Way in 63 and Mary's address at the time of her death
was at the Park Merced Estate, next to the Lake, ( going on an 11 year
olds memory ) I believe it was 810 Gonzalas Way Apt 1-C or 3-C. The
Wills would have been filed either in S.F., or Daily City, not sure
but I believe West Portal may be concidered part of Daily City NOW, but
am almost 100% sure it was condersidered S.F., in 69, just don't know for
sure!!
