MISSING: The parents of Charles Monaghan!

Charles Monaghan was born in 1843 in Pennsylvania. Research leads me to
suspect that he might have been born in or near Monaghan County, PA. Silly
idea, I know. ;)

Both of Charles Monaghan's parents were from Ireland. I know nothing else
about them.

Charles married Anna (Walls?), who I am also researching. Anna (Walls?) was
born about 1843 in Pennsylvania. Her parents were also both born in Ireland
. I am not 100% sure of her last name, although on one of the childrens
death records, the mothers maiden name was listed as "Walls".

By 1865, Anna and Charles Monaghan were living in San Joaquin County,
California, in or near Stockton.

We know that Charles Monaghan was a typesetter/printer by trade in Stockton
in 1880 (according to the census records).

Charles and Anna had 4 little Monaghan children as of 1880. Thomas (b:1865),
John T. (b: 1868), Robie (b: 1874) and Maggie (b: 1879). According to the
1880 census, all the children were born in California. I'm not sure if
there were more children born to Charles and Anna after 1880.

Their daughter, Margaret W. Monaghan (Maggie) was born 21 Dec 1879 in
Stockton, San Joaquin, California. Maggie married Emil Alfred LaVine (b:
1876-CA) about 1894. They resided in Northern California (Stockton /
Sacramento area). Maggie died 3 Jan 1941 in Sacramento.

Any info about either of Maggie's parents or siblings would be wonderful!
