ELK GROVE LODGE, NO. 173, F. AND A. M.
This Lodge meets at Elk Grove the Santurday of or preceding the full moon, over Everson's store. It was organized at Old elk Grove, August 6, 1864, the first meetings being held at the house of O. S. Freeman. The charter members were:

G. W. CHAPLIN

B. F. WEATHERS
W. B. SULLIVAN
The first officers were:

The present membership numbers twenty-seven, the greatest number have been thirty-five. The present value of the property of the Lodge is four hundred dollars. The financial condition is good, the Lodge having one thousand dollars at interest.
