I can check for possible marriage certificate in Sacramento for your great
grandparents date of marriage. I also can check the Sacramento Bee index to
see if they may have married around Sacramento (if they don't show up in the
court records) - they may say Sacramento but perhaps married in Roseville or
San Joaquin and these events are sometimes recorded in the Bee.
Also, I can check the 1855 date for the other wedding you have 'proof' of
and transcribe the marriage certificate (if there).
Let me know... I receive about 200 emails a day. Without the prior email or
copy of the message I have no clue as to what I am supposed to help you
with. I hope you understand. Just send the message back with the original
information and I will try to help as much as I can.

I may be grasping at straws here but decided to see if any one might be able
to help me.
I received from the Tuolumne Co. Genealogical Society a Northern California
Marriages page with names of those married in 1850-1860 and found my 2-g
grandparents' wedding date in Sacramento in 1855.
I am now looking for info about my great grandparents who were married,
perhaps in Sacramento in 1869 or 1870. Does anyone know of a source that I
can contact to find this information? Pat
