I am interested in the William P. and Addas McCain family and the William B.
Kyler family of Chino. The McCains came to California in 1886/1887.
Although there is mention of them living in Long Beach, in 1906 their home
was on East Cemetery Avenue where he had been a "successful fruit grower and
dairyman on the Chino grant." (from History of San Bernadino County, pg
759). The Kylers came to California about 1902 and were living in Pomona
in 1906 but at his death in 1937, W. B. Kyler was living at Walnut and
Magnolia in Chino with his daughter and son-in-law O.T. Wright. If anyone
runs across these families in their Chino research, I would love to hear
from them. I have quite a write-up on the McCains from another family
researcher but almost nothing on the Kylers and very few documents for
either family. Any one else researching these families?
