Managing Your DNA Information.
Alice Fairhurst, with the assistance of other project administrators, will
help those those who tested through SCGS learn to manage their personal
page, understand their results, and maximize the resources available to
them. Included will be
1) how to join additional surname, geographical and haplogroup projects,
2) how to add your earliest known ancestor and to add geographical
locations;
3) how to upload to Ysearch and its benefits;
4) what your matches mean.
The afternoon will be split between those still wanting assistance with
their page and those who wanting to learn about DNA testing. A drawing will
be held for a free DNA test.

DNA Panel Discussion
Get answers to any questions you've ever had about combining DNA and
genealogy. Panelists are: Colleen Fitzpatrick, author of 2 DNA books, Alice
Fairhurst, DNA project administrator, Doug Miller, DNA project
administrator; and Ann Stansbarger, historical genealogical connections
researcher. Bring your puzzlers for us to work on.
For both dates, brown bag it or join us for pizza ($5.00). Meeting is open
to the public and is free.
