LINDERMAN MEMORIAL SET FOR TOMORROW
Sevices for retired Navy Lt. Cmdr. Francis M. Linderman, 81, of East San
Diego, will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Greenwood Mortuary. Burial will be at
Greenwood Memorial Park.
Cmdr. Linderman was born in Kansas and had been a county resident for 50
years. He died Friday at a hospital.
He ended a 31-year career in the Navy in 1960 and was a member of Masonic
Lodge 657 and the San Diego Scottish Rite Bodies.
Survivors include his wife, Ette; a son, Francis of Lemon Grove; a
daughter, Shirley Crawford of San Diego; five grandchildren; and a
great-grandchild.
The family suggested donations to the American Cancer Society.

ROBERT J. READ
Services for Robert J. Read, 67, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Greenwood
Mortuary. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Read, an Old Town resident, died Sunday in a hospital.
He was born in Minnesota and had lived in the county 24 years. He was a
carpenter for 48 years and a member of the Carpenters Local 1571.
Surviving are son, Robert of San Marcos; five daughters, including Gail,
Barbara, Lee Bailey and Roberta Bradbury, all of San Diego; a sister; and
13 grandchildren.

JOSEPH A. HOLDER
Joseph A. Holder, 75, a retired printer, was buried Friday in New Jersey.
He died June 14 in a San Diego hospital.
Am Isreal Mortuary handled arrangements.
Mr. Holder was born in New York City, had lived in San Diego six years and
was a Grantville resident and a member of Tifereth Israel Synagogue. He
worked in New York and Connecticut as a printer for 35 years.
Surviving are his wife, Marion; a daughter, Frances Reichbart of Del
Cerro; and three grandchildren.
The family suggested contributions to the Heart Association or Tifereth
Israel Synagogue.

ROSE A. WALSH
A Mass for Rose A. Walsh, 74, owner of Rose's Beauty Shop in Pacific
Beach, will be said at 2 p.m. tomorrow in St. Brigid's Roman Catholic
Church. Burial will follow at El Camino Memorial Park.
Mrs. Welsh, a Pacific Beach resident, died Thrusday in Utah after an
auto-moblie accident.
She was born in Canada and had lived in the county 27 years.
Surviving are two sons, 11 gradchildren, four sisters and five brothers.
