Actually, they are better. My personal experience to date is only with the
CADI cd's. They have more data fields that Ancestry / Roots web did not
choose to include for some reason. In rare instances the fields (they
deleted) are blank but that reflects the original documents. Those blanks
are uncommon. No matter how good a CD may be, it represents another level
of transcribing, & another chance for error to be introduced. Original
records are a "Primary" source for researchers. CD's however accurate are
best used as a "finder" to enable a reseacher to locate original docs.
If your reference is to "Donna @ MBS", I believe she is doing HEROIC
legwork, & going to the original documents at the county recorder's office.
Not the CD's Her home is a long drive from that office.

I've been reading about the CABI and CADI cd look ups that Donna, and others
are able to provide. Are these records like the ones we used to be able to
access for the whole state? And how much information is available? I was so
disappointed to hear about the indeces going off line. Thanks.
