Looking for any relatives of JOHN HOWARD ARMSTRONG (my g-grandfather). He was born in Indiana c. 1865 and married EVA JANE PERKINS (b. c. 1885 in KY) in Floyd Co., IN on 09 Feb 1896. They moved to the Los Angeles area and resided in La Canada. John and Eva had 4 children that we know of: ALMA MAY ARMSTRONG (my grandmother) b. 24 Jul 1905; JOHN "Jack" ARMSTRONG b. 09 Nov 1907; CLARA ARMSTRONG; and MARGARET CORDELIA ARMSTRONG.

Alma May Armstrong attended Franklin HIgh School and graduated in the winter class of 1923. She then worked at the Union Pacific Railroad until 1926 when she married GEORGE EDWIN HARLOCK (my grandfather). They moved to Ventura County.

Little is known of the rest of Alma's family. We know that her father, John Armstrong, died from oral surgery complications sometime after her marriage to George but probably before 1930. Eva, listed as a widow and her son, John, are shown living in San Diego in the 1930 Federal Census. Nothing more is known of Clara & Margaret; Alma said that one sister died in an accident falling down stairs but can't remember which one.

Alma had a "falling out" with her mother after her father's death and never spoke of her family again. Any info would be appreciated. We are hoping to find any hint of these missing relatives!
