Erin, thank you so much for taking the time to research Melville H. Taylor. I don't know if the Richard M. Taylor you mention is the nephew of Gen. McBride, as by the 1930 census Richard is listed as being 4 years 2 mo so born 1925/6, but it is worth checking. How about that Mrs. McBride, President of a Bank in 1930--way to go Mrs. McBride!! Thank you for your help from the Veterans of the 80th Infantry Division WWII.
