The SSDI I looked at has a zip code of 92154. That is South San Diego. At one time it was just the So. Bay area comprising of towns like Palm city, Nestor, San Ysidro. Many years ago it was annexed to the City of San Diego and became known as South San Diego. While we still call them by the old names Palm City, etc., their mailing address is San Diego, Ca. Since they lived in Chula Vista at one time, I will check the Chula Vista Star News again to see if I can find an obit.
As for Greenwood Cemetery, it is at I-805 and Imperial Ave. San Diego.
There are several old cemeteries in the same area. Greenwood has been there for years and years. I live in Chula Vista. Born in San Diego (too many years ago to count ) and have lived in the South county all my life.
