I live in New York State...we have a very large Civil War descendants group...I have volunteered to try to find descendants of our Medal of Honor winner who will be honored at the next reunion in his hometown in Western New York...no family has ever been heard about since 1912 when he died in Minnesota... we're hoping to find some before the reunion! hundreds will be present for this...I have so far traced the family to 3/25/1993 when a Margaret W. Molin died in San Diego County, her maiden name was Woodruff and she was born in the state of Washington in 1923...everything fits including her age...the index does not mention what town she lived in...desperately need her obit to show me who present day survivors are in hopes of contacting them about the reunion...is this possible without the town??...is there some kind of index that would show the town...I am not familiar with San Diego records...can someone help me...Thanks so much if you can..Mary
