Hi,

Early birth and death records were not recorded until (starting) 1905 so I was not able to do a search on Mary Whitaker, however I did find George Whitaker in the census.

1910 census from Twp. 3 N Pct., CA., Kern Co:
Whitaker George A., head, 54, M2, married 15 years, b. OH., parents b. OH., Store keeper/grocery store.
Geneva, wife, 43, M1, married 15 years, b. MASS., father b. Maine, mother b. MASS.
Allen P., son, 12, b. CA., paper boy/street.
Hammond Mildred E., dau. 29, M1, marr. 8 years, bookkeeper/meat market.
Kelogg Edna L., niece, 25, S., b. IA., father b. Unk., mother b. IA., clerk/grocery.

On the 1920 and 1930 census he is living with daughter Mildred in Bakersfield, CA., Kern Co.
