Here is a list of heretofore nameless streets that have been designated in
the 1893-4 fiscal year by Orders 1884 and 1686. They had been alleys,
courtyards, back roads and the like. I have their exact locations, if you
have an interest.

I know that these lists sound pointless to some of you, but they can be
quite helpful. This one, in fact, came as a result of searching for the
history of one of San Francisco's early French Bankers. A short street was
named for him during this naming campaign - Pioche Alley.
