My neighbor has asked me to locate information on a Louis Garbini for her
mother Helen Irene Solomon who is 83 years old. She was adopted by a man
named Solomon but Garbini was her natural father. Helens September 10th 1917
birth certificate ( San Francisco ) shows her fathers name as Louis Garbini
and her mother as Irene Wagner both living at 748 Vallejo Street. Ive found
out that the house still exists. Ive called the Assessors Record Office and
was told that the records also still exists. However, I am unable to come
into San Francisco to dig through the files. This is the only document that
Helen has showing who her father was. Is there anyone on this list who would
be willing to do the legwork? If so, please contact me and we can discuss
the financial side.
