>Hi - there is a book about the Golden Gate Bridge called "Spanning the
Gate- the Golden Gate Bridge" -published by Baron Wolman, Squarebooks,
Inc., P.O.Box 1000, Mill Valley, CA 94942 - $14.95 published 1986.

started painting in 1934. Bridge completed 1937 - No idex - no names of
painters. Excellent pictures, however.

1832 ,died in Vallejo, California 15 April 1899. Perhaps related - as
Vallejo is across the bay from San Francisco. He worked at Mare Island
Naval Yard in Vallejo. Pat
