I am researching the Cross family. Charles W. Cross is a ggg uncle. He was
a CA State Senator for Nevada, Sierra counties in the late 1800s. I have
located him in the San Francisco City Directory starting in 1886. He was an
attorney practicing in the San Francisco area. In 1886 his office was
located at 310 Pine St. San Francisco. He was still practicing law in San
Francisco in 1912. I am looking for biographical information regarding this
individual and a possible death date so I might obtain a death certificate.
His brother was a Capt. John Cross, who was born in 1842. He was the owner
and builder of railroads in the state of California. Their nephew was Albert
P. Cross, a San Francisco mail contractor, whose office was located at 24 Oak
Grove Ave in San Francisco, during 1912.

I am not sure where else to look for information regarding these Cross family
members.
