Hi Ralph,
WOW!! I might get real lucky here. The first and third look like the
best possibilities. William had no middle name that I have found on any
documents. The first one more than the third. William's first child was
born in Oct 1855 in SF. The first William would have been 31 years old.
The third one would have been 19 years. I lean towrds the first one.
Tommorrow I am calling Holy Cross to see if they have Nora O'Brien (d. 7
May 1864). If I am real lucky, William could be buried with her and then I
can find out the date of burial and determine which William it is below. If
I am really really really lucky, I might find Catherine buried with them
also.
William died first, as far as I know. Nora died second and hopefully is
buried with William. Catherine died third and also is hopefully buried with
them. Of the six children they had, I have now located five. Four died
after 1900 and are buried at Holy Cross together. The sixth child (James) I
have no idea where to look. So chances are that William, Nora and Catherine
might be together.
I will let everyone know if I really have the luck of the Irish.

Regards,

Mike
