This is a general genealogy research question as
opposed to one specifically about SF genealogy. I am
researching someone said to have been an American
diplomat in Paris, circa 1870. Are there any resources
- such as directories, lists, almanacs, government
records, etc. - that list and provide details on
individuals in the diplomatic service? It seems that
records of this sort should exist, though I cannot
seem to identify or locate them. Brian.
