Hello List Members

I am trying to locate my grandfather John Hosea Alvorad. He was born
c1900-1905 in Madrid, Spain. He resided in the 1930s in Richmond, Virginia.

I found on the www in an obituary the surname Alvorad (relating to someone
else) in the Penngrove area of San Francisco. This is the first Alvorad I
have found on the www. I emailed the contact person but they were only
recording the event on the www and were not related to anybody written.

Does anyone know of any Alvorad people. Is the name a familiar one in CA?
