This school is in the large eighteen-class building on McAllister

grammar and primary pupils.
Mr. E. D. HUMPHREY was placed in charge of the school at its
organization, and he remained until January, 1877, when he resigned his
position on account of ill health. He died on the 18th of March, 1878.
