Carolyn:
I believe that the pre 1905 San Francisco Death Records being
transcribed are available at the Department of Health in San Francisco. They
have eight Books of records that survived the 1906 earthquake and fire. Six
of those books have been filmed by the LDS and the films can be ordered thru
them. Film numbers are # 0975830 thru #0975835. The two books that are not
on film are, "Book O" - July 1, 1898, to March 16, 1900 and an untitled Book
that covers July 1, 1904 to Jan. 31,1905.
I have search the LDS films and found one death in my family on
them. Im am awaiting the books that have not been filmed to be posted on the
site so I may continue my search.
