John,
In the 1905-1929 CA Death Index, are the following:
CULVER Mary M; Spouse's Initials-CS(hard to read, maybe GS); age 84;
County of Death #90(SanFran); Date of Death 02 Nov 1922; State
file#48448

--In researching a particular lineage, I have a ggg aunt I
--have found in San Fran on the 1920 Census in District ED
--223.(pg 12 Ancestry.com) She is in a home with a staff
--and about 30 other patients, the top of the census form is
--simply titled "Home of the incurable". I am trying to find
--a death/burial for her, and am hoping that this institution
--may have had some kind of record keeping. Can anyone help?
--Mary Matilda (Bennett) CULVER was 82 at the time, and she
--doesn't appear anywhere on the 1930 census so my guess is she
--died sometime in the 1920's, and probably in this home. Can
--anyone tell me anything about a home like this? At present I
--do not know if she had any children living at that time.
--Thanks, John
