I have FINALLY learned that my "lost" ancestor was actually murdered in
San Francisco in June of 1911. The victim was Johanna Corvino, my
grandfather's sister. Interestingly enough, the story came from a
newspaper clipping from The Mountain Democrat in Placerville,
California.

Can anyone make any suggestions as to what resources/documentation over
and above an obituary might be available for this time period?
