Greetings:

Recent news has been noted regarding the El Monte Cemetery, also known as
the Savannah Pioneer Cemetery and Savannah Memorial Park, in the City of
Rosemead, Los Angeles County.

The El Monte Cemetery Association is apparently experiencing financial
difficulty and is contemplating selling the cemetery to developers. If this
were to occur, it has been stated that the 3,000 graves in the cemetery will
have to be disinterred and relocated elsewhere.

If you have family ancestors or loved ones who were interred in this
cemetery, you are encouraged to contact the El Monte Cemetery Association.
