Listers,
I have located a "gold mine" of passenger lists for ships and (some) wagon
trains for 1849. These are from the New York Herald and I am uploading them
as I have time to transcribe them. I presently am working on February 1849
and have about 200 pages of lists just to get through June 1849. Then back
to the microfilm. These are sailing ships for the most part, not steamers.
I think it will take months to get them up. Check them out:
