This is great I think my problem was mostly DeWitt State hospital was
closed and so I had to talk to the person that archives the medical records
and then the State of course which will not let you into the archives. I am
so glad other facilities may be different for other people and thank you for
sharing your knowlegde of Napa. My medical records that I was looking for
went back to the 50's. The person I was reasearching had been in the system
for thirty five years...I did finally find where she was buried without a
head stone but I would have like to know her history since i have children
and would like them to know their great grandmothers medical history. I
think it belongs to them. I don't know if anyone else has found ways to get
around this system but I would love to figure it out.
