Sue:
Lets keep digging. I am sure we will find a connection at some point.

My ROCHE was my fathers stepfather, John James ROCHE (B: 1873 CA), son of
John and Mary (?) ROCHE (both born in Ireland).

According to the 1880 Census they were living in Butcher Town near 9th & L.
(This is in the area on 9th and Innes after the street name changes). Other
children listed in that Census were:

Kate E. (B: @1858 Wisconsin),
James W. (B: @ 1860 WS),
Margaurite A. (B: @1865 CA),
Frances M. (B: @1871 CA) and
George L. (B: @1876 CA).

By the 1900 Census, only George L. is still living with them at the same
address and his occupation is listed as "Butcher" the same as his fathers.

According to my cousin, my fathers half brothers daughter, there was a
related ROCHE that was a judge according to verbal history. Her father died in 1943
so this is all we have to go on regarding that line. As always, if we can
make a tie, I am happy to share all I have with you.

Yes, the disks arrived and I have spent many hours pouring over them, Thank
you very much.

Jim
