Hi Ruth,
Great article. I remember Nickle Pool in the Mision and Midget Racing
out on Industrial. Though I'm about 3 years or so older than Mike in
the article, his memories pretty much tracked mine, especially the
two-bits worth of shrimp form the Muni Bait Shop used to fish off Muni
Pier. Every kid who grew up in the city had the same limits--wherever
the bus & trolley lines ran as long as you had punches left on your bus
pass.
