Hi Listers
I am new to the list and am looking for any information at all about my
Great Uncle, Abraham BERK.
He died in San Francisco in 1983, and I believe that he lived in the
Richmond area.
He was married to Mary (maiden name unknown), and I don't know if they had
any children or not.
He was from Russian Lithuania, and would have been about 99 when he died.
He came over to the USA in 1905, and his wife a year later, she was Polish.
They lived in Portland Oregon for a while in the 1920s, and owned the
Commodore Hotel there.
I think he retired to San Francisco in the 1950s.
Please, if any one has any information about him or any family at all, I
would be very grateful.
