In his book STOCKTON ALBUM, Martin describes efforts
to form a city government in Stockton (circa 1850).
One name frequently mentioned is W N Robinson (in one
case W H Robinson, probably a typo). No further info
on family in book, but a possible lead, especially if
the "N" for this individual is also Newton and it's a
"family legacy" name.
