Dear List:

Thank you for past, helpful responses. This is another inquiry
concerning JOHN KING CRUIKSHANK, just to leave a more thorough footprint
for current or future researchers:

I am researching my CRUIKSHANK line, the earliest of which I know were
brothers who came to California during the Gold Rush from New York. I
am searching for the parents of JOHN, JAMES, and WILLIAM CRUIKSHANK, and
any other info I can find about their wives, and about their lives in
New York, their migration, and their lives as true 49's.

Does anyone have any info, ideas or leads I might use, specifially about
their parents, their migration to California, and their lives as 49rs?
